What we don't charge for
- No success fees. Some competitors take a percentage of money they help you save (Rocket Money takes 30 to 60 percent of bill-negotiation savings). We don't.
- No add-ons. One Pro price. No premium categories, no per-account fees, no setup charges, no upgrade tiers above Pro.
- No advertising. We don't sell ad inventory inside the app, and we don't take affiliate kickbacks from credit cards, refinance offers, or insurance quotes.
- No data sales. Your transactions, balances, and financial behavior are never sold to data brokers, marketers, or credit bureaus. See the security page for the full data model.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account gets a 30-day free trial with everything unlocked: bank sync via Plaid, the private AI assistant, household sharing, and the full toolkit. A card is required to start it, and you can cancel anytime before day 30 without being charged.
How much is it after the trial?
$10 a month, or $99 a year (saves $21). Both start with the 30-day free trial, and both are billed through Stripe. Cancel any time from Settings; your access continues until the end of the billing period. One plan also covers your household, up to 6 people, at no extra cost.
What's included?
Everything, one plan: bank sync via Plaid (12,000+ US banks), the private AI assistant (it reasons over a de-identified summary, never your raw data), AI portfolio analysis, and household sharing for up to 6, plus budgeting, the debt-payoff cockpit, investment tracking, reports, and the full insight suite. There is no tiered or crippled version.
Is there a free tier, or only a trial?
The 30-day trial is how you try everything free; after that it's $10 a month. We don't have a permanent free tier. We found a limited free plan just gave people half the product (no bank sync, the part that makes it effortless), so instead everyone gets the full thing to try for a month.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards via Stripe. We don't store your card details ourselves; Stripe handles all payment processing.
How do I cancel?
Settings, Subscription, Cancel. No retention call, no email negotiation. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you already paid for, so your Pro access continues until then. After that the app locks until you resubscribe, but your data stays put: your export and settings remain reachable, so nothing is lost.
Will the price ever change?
If we ever raise the price, anyone already on Pro keeps their current price for as long as they stay subscribed. Pricing changes only apply to new sign-ups going forward, and we'd announce changes via email at least 30 days in advance.
Do you offer student or non-profit discounts?
Not formally. If you're a student or running a non-profit and Pro is a stretch, email [email protected] and we'll work something out.
Refund policy?
If Pro doesn't work for you, email [email protected] within 30 days of your first payment and we'll refund it. Annual subscriptions: prorated refund for the unused portion within the first 60 days.
How does Vekfinance compare to other apps' pricing?
Monarch Money is $14.99/month. YNAB is $14.99/month. Copilot Money is $13/month. Rocket Money Premium runs $7 to $14/month plus success fees on bill negotiation. Vekfinance Pro at $10/month is below all of them. See the /compare page for full feature comparisons.
