This is what we're actually working on, ranked by how soon it ships. We don't promise dates. We update this page when items move from Later to Next, Next to Now, or Now to live.

Sharper automatic categorization
Expanding the built-in merchant dictionary and rule heuristics so more transactions are sorted correctly on the first pass, all deterministically on our server.

When the Bills & subscriptions view finds a recurring charge, show the merchant's own cancel page so you can act without searching.
Native iOS app
Real iOS app with widgets, notifications, and Apple Watch glanceability. Web stays the canonical experience; the app is a faster surface.

Drag-and-drop chart builder so any user can build the report they want without us shipping a new page.

Bank sync in more countries
US and Canadian banks are supported today. The UK and other regions depend on aggregator coverage in each one.
An assistant that remembers past chats
Follow-up questions across days without re-explaining. Only if it can keep the same privacy rules the assistant follows today: a de-identified summary, never your raw data.
On-device receipt capture
A future receipt feature would run OCR on your device, with the image bytes never leaving it. Not built yet, and it will not ship until it can meet that bar.
Tax export
End-of-year export formatted for tax-prep software (TurboTax, HR Block).
Open banking via API
Public API for advanced users who want to integrate Vekfinance with their own scripts.
What's already shipped
The point of a roadmap is what's next, but for context, here is what is already live:
- AI assistant. A chat panel that reasons over a de-identified summary of your money; our server fills in exact figures, so the model never sees your raw transactions.
- Debt payoff cockpit. Live avalanche / snowball comparison with per-card extra-payment sliders.
- Subscription detection. Auto-finds recurring charges across your accounts.
- Bank sync via Plaid. 12,000+ banks in the US and Canada. Transactions import automatically as your bank reports them.
- Investment tracking. Holdings, allocation, time-weighted performance and contribution room, plus compound growth projections.
- Custom report builder. 10 built-in reports plus a builder for ad-hoc views.
- Household sharing. Up to six people, each with a private login, one shared summary and one plan.
- Trusted contacts. Let a family member or caregiver look over your money, read only. You can see when they last looked and which pages they opened.
- Scam warnings. A calm heads up when a payment looks like a common scam.
- Budget roll over. Carry what is left in a category into next month, per category.
- Spanish. The app and site in Spanish, plus account and alert emails.
- Time zone and currency. Picked during setup and in Settings, so months, due dates and amounts follow where you live.
- Easier on the eyes and hands. Larger buttons, a label on every field, stronger contrast, and charts that grow with your text size.
How we prioritize
Three signals move items up the queue:
- How many users have asked. If the same request comes in three times in a month, it's usually in the roadmap by the end of the month.
- How much it unblocks. Native iOS for example unblocks a whole class of mobile-first users who currently have to use the web app.
- How much it costs us not to ship it. Trusted contacts, for example, let a family keep an eye on someone's money without sharing a bank password.
A few things we deliberately won't build, because they aren't aligned with what Vekfinance is:
- Ad inventory inside the app. Ever. Not even "native" credit card offers.
- Bill-negotiation as a service (Rocket Money style). Different business model that conflicts with our flat pricing.
- Selling aggregate data. Even "anonymized." Not interesting to us as a revenue stream.

What this roadmap is, and isn't
This is a public version of our internal queue. We may re-order based on user feedback or technical discoveries. Now means in active development, with no dates promised; anything in Next or Later might not ship. No item is a commitment. If you'd be heartbroken without a specific feature, let us know via email so we can factor that in.
