What we're building

This is what we're actually working on, ranked by how soon it ships. We don't promise dates. We update this page when items move from Later to Next, Next to Now, or Now to live.

What's already shipped

The point of a roadmap is what's next, but for context, here's the short list of items shipped in the last 90 days:

• AI assistant. Chat panel with full read access to your accounts, budgets, debts, and transactions.
• Debt payoff cockpit. Live avalanche / snowball comparison with per-card extra-payment sliders.
• Subscription detection. Auto-finds recurring charges across your accounts.
• Bank sync via Plaid. 12,000+ US banks supported with daily background sync.
• Investment tracking + projections. Compound growth model with inflation and tax-drag toggles.
• Custom report builder. 10 built-in reports plus a builder for ad-hoc views.

How we prioritize

Three signals move items up the queue:

1. How many users have asked. If the same request comes in three times in a month, it's usually in the roadmap by the end of the month.
2. How much it unblocks. Native iOS for example unblocks a whole class of mobile-first users who currently have to use the web app.
3. How much it costs us not to ship it. Household sharing keeps users with partners on competing paid tools we could otherwise win.

A few things we deliberately won't build, because they aren't aligned with what Vekfinance is:

• Ad inventory inside the app. Ever. Not even "native" credit card offers.
• Bill-negotiation as a service (Rocket Money style). Different business model that conflicts with our flat pricing.
• Selling aggregate data. Even "anonymized." Not interesting to us as a revenue stream.
